The European is currently discussing if Americans, and in that case, which Americans can start to be allowed arrival in the European Union. Now that the "Schengen Area" have opened the internal borders in EU, the discussions have now been pointed towards are American neighbours across the pond.
Currently between 10-20 different countries have been discussed, as the initial few to be allowed entry to the EU. Meanwhile the United States of America looks to be on a hold, due to the handling of the COVID-19 situation.
This means, that Americans wanting to visit Europe for their summer holidays, have to be patient until the EU have found a solution, or made some regulations on which Americans can be allowed entry.
